Clear expectations. Safer movement.

Parent Policies
& Waiver

Please review these terms before registering your child. Required acknowledgements and optional photography permission are collected during registration.

01

Cancellation and refunds

Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled class receive a class credit valid for 90 days. Credits are subject to class availability and are not redeemable for cash.

Cancellations made within 24 hours of class and no-shows are non-refundable and do not receive a credit. Exceptional medical or family emergencies may be reviewed individually.

If Pilates with Love cancels a class, the parent or guardian may choose a full refund or a class credit.

02

Weather and rescheduling

Outdoor classes may be moved, rescheduled or cancelled because of rain, extreme heat, poor air quality, unsafe surfaces or other hazardous conditions. Families will be notified as soon as reasonably possible.

If Pilates with Love cancels, families may choose a refund or class credit. If the class proceeds safely and a family chooses not to attend, the regular cancellation policy applies.

03

Late pickup and no-shows

Parents and guardians should arrive 5–10 minutes before the scheduled end of class. A 10-minute grace period is provided. After that, a $10 late fee may apply for each additional 10 minutes.

A child will never be left unattended. Repeated late pickups may affect future registration. No-shows are not eligible for refunds or credits.

04

Illness and injury

Children should not attend with a fever or contagious illness, vomiting or diarrhea within the previous 48 hours, symptoms that prevent safe participation, or an injury that requires medical clearance.

Parents and guardians must disclose relevant medical conditions, allergies, medications, physical limitations, sensory needs and emergency information. The coach may modify or stop participation when reasonably necessary for safety. Pilates with Love does not diagnose or treat medical conditions.

05

Photography permission

Photography and video permission is optional and is never required for a child to participate.

When permission is given, appropriate photos or short videos may be used on the Pilates with Love website, social media and promotional materials. A child’s full name, school, health information and exact location will not be published.

A parent or guardian may withdraw permission for future use by contacting Pilates with Love. Previously printed materials or posts already distributed may not be fully retrievable.

06

Participation agreement and waiver

Pilates with Love offers age-appropriate Pilates, mobility, stretching, balance and athletic conditioning. Physical activity carries risks that cannot be completely eliminated, including soreness, strains, sprains, falls, collisions, aggravation of known or unknown conditions, weather exposure and, in rare cases, serious injury.

The parent or guardian confirms that they have authority to register the child, that the information supplied is accurate, and that relevant health, accessibility and safety information has been disclosed. They are responsible for obtaining medical advice or clearance when there is uncertainty about safe participation.

The parent or guardian voluntarily consents to the child’s participation and accepts the ordinary and inherent risks of the program. To the fullest extent permitted by Ontario law, they agree not to hold Pilates with Love or its coach responsible for injury, loss or damage arising solely from those inherent risks. Nothing in the agreement excludes liability or rights that cannot legally be excluded or waived.

If the parent or guardian cannot be reached, they authorize the coach to contact emergency services and provide reasonable first-aid assistance within the coach’s training. The parent or guardian remains responsible for decisions and costs relating to the child’s medical care.
