Nature of the program
Pilates with Love offers age-appropriate Pilates, mobility, stretching, balance and athletic conditioning. Sessions may take place outdoors and may include uneven ground, changing weather and interaction with other participants.
Inherent risks
Physical activity involves risks that cannot be completely eliminated, including muscle soreness, strains, sprains, falls, collisions, aggravation of a known or unknown condition, heat or cold exposure and, in rare cases, serious injury.
Parent/guardian responsibilities
The parent or guardian is responsible for providing accurate information, advising the coach of relevant changes, ensuring the child has appropriate clothing, water and sun protection, and obtaining medical advice or clearance when there is uncertainty about safe participation.
Assumption of risk and program waiver
I understand the nature of the activities and voluntarily consent to my child’s participation. I accept the ordinary and inherent risks of the program. To the fullest extent permitted by Ontario law, I agree not to hold Pilates with Love or its coach responsible for injury, loss or damage arising solely from those inherent risks. This agreement does not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded and does not waive any rights that cannot legally be waived.
Emergency care
If I cannot be reached, I authorize the coach to contact emergency services and provide reasonable first-aid assistance within the coach’s training. I understand that I remain responsible for decisions and costs relating to my child’s medical care.
Cancellation, refunds and credits
Cancellations made at least 24 hours before class receive a class credit valid for 90 days, subject to availability. Cancellations made within 24 hours and no-shows are non-refundable and do not receive a credit. If Pilates with Love cancels a class, families may choose a full refund or class credit. Exceptional medical or family emergencies may be reviewed individually.
Weather and rescheduling
Outdoor classes may be moved, rescheduled or cancelled because of rain, extreme heat, poor air quality, unsafe surfaces or other hazardous conditions. If Pilates with Love cancels, families may choose a refund or class credit. If a class proceeds safely and a family chooses not to attend, the regular cancellation policy applies.
Arrival, late pickup and no-shows
Parents and guardians should arrive 5–10 minutes before the end of class. A 10-minute grace period is provided. After that, a $10 fee may apply for each additional 10 minutes. Children are never left unattended. Repeated late pickups may affect future registration. No-shows are not eligible for refunds or credits.
Illness and injury
Children should not attend with a fever or contagious illness, vomiting or diarrhea within the previous 48 hours, symptoms that prevent safe participation, or an injury that requires medical clearance. Parents must disclose relevant conditions, allergies, medications, limitations and support needs. The coach may modify or stop participation when reasonably necessary for safety.
Photography and video
Photography permission is optional and is not required to participate. When permission is given, appropriate photos or short videos may be used on the Pilates with Love website, social media or promotional materials. A child’s full name, school, health information and exact location will not be published. Permission may be withdrawn for future use by contacting Pilates with Love.
Privacy
Registration information is collected only to organize classes, communicate with families, support safe participation and respond to emergencies. It will not be sold. Parents may request access, correction or deletion by contacting pilates.with.love8@gmail.com.
